Re: Is it safe to go on a holiday to Sharm El Sheikh in 2022. This notification has been in place in the 30+ years we have traveled to Eygpt. The uk government have stopped travel in the past when it is particular bad as in recent years as we have had holidays cancelled but the amount of checks that are done to enable the uk to travel is thorough.
